Balancing the 8+8+8 Rule: Navigating Modern Motherhood like a BOSS 🤣Recently, I tuned in to a radio conversation discussing the evolving challenges faced by today's mothers compared to those of previous generations. The debate centered around the perceived inability of modern moms to juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a semblance of balance in their lives. The question arose: What sets apart moms of the past from moms of today? In an ideal world, the 8+8+8 rule—eight hours of work, eight hours of sleep, and eight hours divided between family time, self-care, and service—would provide a balanced framework for managing life's demands. It suggests a perfect harmony between responsibilities and personal well-being, with time allocated thoughtfully and tasks tackled one at a time. However, the reality is often far from perfect. Today's moms find themselves navigating a relentless cycle of tasks, from managing work-life balance to tending to the needs of children, maintaining households, and nurturing relationships. The pressure to excel in every role, from soccer mom to career woman, can be overwhelming, leaving little room for rest and self-care. Unlike previous generations, millennial moms like myself are deeply involved in every aspect of our children's lives. We juggle multiple roles, from PTA moms to career-driven professionals, all while striving for personal growth and fulfillment. We understand the importance of self-care and prioritize it, whether it's indulging in a spa day, brunch with friends or seeking assistance with household chores.I believe the key difference lies in our willingness to acknowledge our limitations and embrace self-care without guilt. We've learned from the sacrifices of our predecessors and recognize the importance of nurturing ourselves alongside our families. In essence, the modern mom embodies resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to holistic well-being. We honor the legacy of past generations while charting our own path to fulfillment, one that prioritizes self-care, balance, and unapologetic self-love.Let’s adopt the 8+8+8 framework to allocate time for work, sleep, family, self-care, and service in a world filled with chaotic bliss🥰 #kyonabest #entrepreneurship #mompreneur #digitalmarketing #business #entrepreneur #linkedin

“Mamma, can you stay home today? I want to play with you”- this is what my little son said a few days back when I was leaving for the office. For a woman & a mother, balancing work & family seems like a never-ending struggle. People say it gets easier, you fit into the hustle and bustle. But the truth is, it’s an everyday struggle, especially when the mom guilt strikes. I, too, haven’t mastered it fully. Every time my son cries for my time, I feel like leaving everything aside and sitting by his side. But truth be told, life does not work like that. If you have to achieve something bigger in life, you have to let go of the feeling “I’m the worst mother on earth”. There are so many societal rules regarding how and what makes a good mother or a good businesswoman. But the fact is, everyone’s journey is different, and there are no specific standards following which we can become great mothers and successful entrepreneurs. So for the past few years, whenever I make any decision, be it personal or professional, rather than worrying about others’ perceptions, I do what feels right for me, my family, and my company. You can’t control what others think of you, but you can control what affects you. I would suggest doing the same to every working mother or woman in general who struggles to balance work and personal life. You should- >> Worry less about others’ perceptions. >> Focus on the bigger goal of your life. >> Do what feels right for you. Bother less about the things you can’t control. Instead, work towards your mental, emotional, physical, and overall growth. What are your thoughts? #MomPreneur #Motherhood #MomGuilt #WomenEntrepreneurs

🧚♀️Mother-magical equation is Building (Baby+Business)= Mompreneur. The combination of motherhood and entrepreneurship yields a powerful force known as the "mompreneur." Both my baby & Expertbells are in their early years, I’m constantly juggling between building my startup and caring for my baby. I balance my expanding business and family by adjusting my schedule, multitasking, and making sacrifices to fulfill my duties on both fronts. As a mompreneur, there are three essential elements that I deeply value and embrace. These 3️⃣ "M's" play a significant role in shaping my journey:🎀Multitasking: Handling numerous tasks simultaneously is like our birthright. This includes balancing work-related tasks such as client meetings, marketing, and administration with parenting duties like childcare, school activities, and household chores.🎀Management: We women are excel in effectively managing our 24 Hours . I prioritise tasks, set goals, and create schedules that accommodate both our business and family needs.🎀Making sacrifices: Mompreneurs understand that success requires making sacrifices. We may forgo personal leisure time or adjust their social commitments to dedicate more time and energy to our business and family.P.S. - It is acceptable to bring your baby to the office occasionally and allocate time for them during working hours. Avoid feeling guilty about not spending every moment with your baby; instead, focus on prioritizing quality time together. #business #success #startup #entrepreneurship #building #parenting #energy #work #workinghours #management #administration #mothersday2023 #expertbells #marketing

When you are a mother with a business, you are always onto the next thing in your day. Motherhood is a beautiful whirlwind. It's joy, exhaustion, love, and a million other emotions rolled into one.But for working women, it can also present a daunting question: how do I manage my dreams alongside the demands of being a first-time mom? You're not alone. Here is how I am managing QuickTech along with the joy of motherhood: 1. Be flexible: Ditch the rigidity of the 9-to-5. As a mom, your schedule will bend and flex according to your little one's needs. Embrace this! Utilize nap times, early mornings, or late nights for focused work. Delegate tasks, outsource where possible, and remember, that progress, not perfection, is key.2. Prioritize ruthlessly: Not everything can be a top priority. Identify the essential tasks for your business and your baby, and ruthlessly delegate or eliminate the rest. Batch similar tasks together for more efficient use of your limited time. 3. Build a Support System: You can't do it all alone. Lean on your partner, family, or friends, or hire help if needed. Utilize childcare options, join mompreneur groups, and find a mentor who understands your dual role.4. Invest in Yourself: Remember, you're not just a mom or a businesswoman – you're both! Make time for self-care, whether it's a quick meditation, a workout, or a stolen moment with a good book. Taking care of yourself allows you to show up fully for everything else.5. Celebrate the Wins (Big and Small): Motherhood and entrepreneurship are journeys filled with victories, big and small. Take time to celebrate each milestone, each client won, and each diaper changed without incident. Recognizing your progress fuels motivation and reminds you of your incredible strength.📍 Don't be afraid to ask for help. There's no shame in admitting you need a hand. The more we support each other, the more we all rise.#mompreneur #businessmama #firsttimemom #worklifebalance #womeninbusiness

🌳 The Power of Reflection: Balancing Business, Wellness, and Motherhood 🌊#30daysofgratitude2022 @ Day 232📸 Captured this stunning reflection picture during my walk, reminding me of the importance of balance. If you take care of yourselfyou take care of your world a new definition of success ishow well you take care of your well-being.Self-care and balance are important in midlife, especially for women. Are you physically and mentally ready of growing older gracefully? #selfcare #balancedlife #midlifejourney #holisticcoaching Coaching study case: She was attempting to build her own business using her expertise after her retirement. In her head, she could pursue her ambition at full speed. She said, "I know how to do it." After a reflection on her health issue, she said that she wanted to give self-care her priority. When I asked her to create a statement about her business, she made a beautiful statement. I knew she was saying it from her heart instead of her head because I could see her excitement and energy, the words "nurture" and "love" are in her statement. In midlife, it's important to include self-care and balance as part of your project or business.

"If you want to do something new, you have to stop doing something old"~ Peter Drucker.Juggling the demands of launching a business whilst also being a present parent is tough.I'm off to my kids' sports day - it means I've had to blow out a scheduled call. Do the counterparts mind? I don't know - "not my circus, not my monkeys". But I know I'll make it up to them in the effort I give when next present.Balancing Business and Parenthood as an Early Stage Entrepreneur will never be smooth sailing. But how do most people solve it? By compromising their health, relationships and missing important family moments. Why doesn't it work long-term? Simple - sacrificing self-care and time with loved ones leads to resentment, stress and burnout. How might I solve it differently? By setting clear boundaries and priorities. Be realistic about what can be achieved. Outsource where possible. Involve your partner and agree on responsibilities.Guidelines I work to:1️⃣ Schedule focused family time in my calendar.2️⃣ Set work hours and stick to them.3️⃣ Take time for self-care - sleep, exercise, fun.4️⃣ Communicate openly with my partner.5️⃣ Get help - virtual assistants, childcare.TL;DR✅ Juggling business and family is hard. Don't sacrifice your health and relationships.✅ Set boundaries and involve your partner. Prioritise family time.✅ Take care of yourself. Outsource what you can.Balancing act or balancing chaos? How do you maintain a work-life balance as an entrepreneur and parent?#moredonelessguilt #theparentrepreneurshow #entrepreneur #sportsday

Hustle culture paints a very narrow picture of ambition. Hustling looks like working all hours of the day and night while sacrificing your sleep, your health, your social life, yourself... all in service of the dream. (Better hope it's YOUR dream!)Notice how this picture leaves no room for anyone with caregiving responsibilities? Add to that the societal pressures placed on mothers to sacrifice themselves in service of their children, and it's not that hard to understand why so many still incorrectly see women as less ambitious. (I mean, if she sacrificed everything for her children, then there's nothing left for the dream, right?)Hustle culture is ONE way. It's not the only way. (It is, however, often the crash and burn way.)Aligned achievement says that you are just as worthy as the dream. Aligned achievement prioritizes the journey as much as the destination.Aligned achievement defines success on its own terms.Aligned achievement is even more ambitious.

You cannot expect to build your 6-figure business the same way when you have kids compared to when you don't. It requires building a completely different business strategy. When you don't have kids, you have ample time, focus, and productivity to dedicate to your business. However, when you have kids, everything changes. While your business is important, your children become an even greater priority. That's why it's crucial to adapt your entire business strategy to accommodate the challenges of parenthood. I personally came to understand this while experiencing morning sickness during pregnancy and throughout my first year of business with a baby.Having kids introduces additional challenges:Learning to focus even after multiple sleepless nights.Increasing productivity within a shorter timeframe to be present for your kids.Finding ways to generate income with limited available time.As a result, you cannot afford to waste time on new trends, social media platforms, or ads. Instead, you must have a clear strategy for prioritizing your work, enabling you to build a 6-figure business while working only 25 hours a week. That’s why i have created Time To Money Program, this helps female entrepreneurs who want to learn how to control their time and build their dream 6 figure business while enjoying time with their kids.I strongly believe that building a successful business is not about doing everything, but rather focusing on high-revenue tasks on a daily basis. That's why this program teaches you how to:- ⭐ Control your time effortlessly- ⭐ Craft a personalized 25-hour workweek- ⭐ Set boundaries for quality family time- ⭐ Bid farewell to procrastination- ⭐ Wake up rejuvenated for peak productivity- ⭐ Boost confidence in handling life's curveballs- ⭐ Cultivate empowering beliefs for business and family goalsComment TIME to receive more information about the Time to Money Program.#productivity#timemanagement#timewithysaline#worklifebalance#womenentrepreneurship

Meet young Krista. This was long before the "work from home" days. This was me in a San Francisco apartment in the early 2000s 'overdelivering'.I would work early in the mornings, late at night, and on weekends.Forget work-life balance.I was young, hungry, and ambitious.But...I also wanted to have kids young.I met my future husband at age 19 and had 3 kids before age 30. All while working. It was brutal.I got up at the crack of dawn and never went to bed before midnight.People underestimate what it really takes to have a demanding career and a family.Back in those days, it was frowned upon.A well-meaning female manager saw my ambition, took me aside, and told me I'd have to choose between career and family. But instead, I did things my way by being as dedicated as I could be my two jobs: mom and worker.I contribute my early years to why I have always been so dedicated and loyal to my clients' success.Today I don't know if young women face the same, easier, or more difficult choices. I do think if I had't had kids, I would have built a startup early on.All I know is that I personally have zero regrets about those sacrifices I made and I wouldn't change a single thing. Lastly, I want to say that entrepreneurship combines the best of both worlds, both for dads and moms. Are you able to spend more time with your kids thanks to working for yourself? Shout out someone who is juggling parenthood and work and who deserves some love (including yourself, please!). We don't need to wait until a holiday to celebrate working moms and dads!#flashback #workingmoms #careerwoman #entrepreneurship

As a co-founder of Newmi Care, I often juggle between work and motherhoodbut today I want to reflect upon changes which have helped me immensely. My days are often packed with meetings, decisions, and deadlines. But, when I became a mother, I quickly learned the importance of a well-structured schedule. Setting clear boundaries for work and family time has been a game-changer.Motherhood has taught me that quality always trumps quantity. Whether it's quality time with my sonor delivering quality work to our Newmi Care community, I've come to value the impact of excellence over sheer volume.Saying "no" can be one of the most challenging but liberating lessons in this journey. As an entrepreneur and a mother, my plate is often full. Learning when to say "no" to additional commitments or tasks has allowed me to focus on what truly matters.Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, I've learned that self-care isn't selfish. It's a necessity. Prioritizing my own well-being, physical and mental health, and taking moments for self-reflection has made me a better mother, leader, and entrepreneur.I'd love to hear from other mothers and entrepreneurs in this wonderful LinkedIn community. What strategies have helped you manage these beautiful yet demanding roles?#MotherhoodAndEntrepreneurship #Balance #SelfCare #QualityOverQuantity #NewmiCare #WorkingMothers 🚀💖
